In Democratic Republic of Congo, the second largest country in Africa and nearly the size of Western Europe, only 5,000 people have been vaccinated out of a population of nearly 90 million. People think that the vaccine is fake and it will make them sterile. There's also a lack of trust in the systems and governments and people feel that Covid is less of a threat than many other deadly diseases like Ebola and measles.
